Fehlercode / DTC P20B1

    Hallo,


    unser 451 hat den Fehlercode P20B1 im Steuergerät gespeichert, er kommt auch nach dem Löschen wieder. Bei meiner Recherche habe ich folgende Seite gefunden:

They simply cut the wire at the sam unit(fuse box) This wire is the positive wire for the valve.     In short if you see the fault code P20B1-"Output for coolant shutoff valve has an electrical fault or open circuit." Ignore the fault it is there due to a smart dealer.


    Und in einem anderen Forum habe ich in einem Beitrag u.a. gelesen, dass der besagte Fehlercode beim Auslesen im SC Tester folgendermaßen erscheint:


    "P20B1 Fehlercode ignorieren"


    Das würde sich ja mit der obigen Aussage decken.

    Ja, dieses unselige Heizungsventil soll, weil es geklemmt hat, Brandschäden verursacht haben. Das Ding wurde im Rahmen eines Rückrufes stillgelegt.
    Das sollte bei dir also auch der Fall sein.
    Somit ist dieser Fehlereintrag ohne Belang.

    Na ja, letztendlich hat sich herausgestellt dass dieses Teil überflüssig war.
    Da war dann stilllegen die einfachste und günstigste Lösung.

    Ich nehme an es handelt sich um ein EM-Sperrventil, dass das Kühlmittel erst dann in den "großen" Kühlkreislauf gelassen hat, wenn die Betriebstemperatur erreicht war, aber im Gegensatz zum Thermostat eben "digital" (also 100% offen oder 100% zu)?
